FasTech licenses Polybutadiene Technology

Seregno, Italy - FasTech Srl has recently licensed its proprietary
technology to manufacture high-cis polybutadiene rubber, based
on neodymium catalyst, to a leading petrochemical operator in East Asia.
The licence agreement includes engineering and other technical services.
This is the second NdBR technology licensed by FasTech. The first one
was granted to a leading petrochemical company based
in the Middle East. The engineering work for a 45 000 tons/y plant
to be built in the regions is progress. FasTech, a Technology
and engineering company, is based in Ferrara, Italy.

Dalla nostra redazione - Nella città di Jilin è già stato dato il via alla prima linea (produzione annua 25.000 tonnellate) dell'impianto di produzione di gomma EPDM che avrà una capacità produttiva totale di 50.000 tonnellate. Una volta entrato a regime, l'impianto consentirà al nostro Paese di ridurre la dipendenza dalle importazioni di gomma EPDM.
Questo impianto nasce da una cooperazione tra Jilin Chemical Industries Import & Export Co., China National Petroleum Corporation e China Petroleum Engineering Construction (Group) Co. (filiale di Jilin) ed è basato sulla tecnologia sviluppata dall'italiana FasTech. In base ai rapporti, l'EPDM possiede eccellenti proprietà chimiche antinvecchiamento, elasticità alle basse temperature e capacità di resistenza agli agenti chimici. I prodotti a base di EPDM comprendono guarnizioni per il settore automobilistico, tubi flessibili, parti laterali degli pneumatici, membrana del tettuccio degli autoveicoli a un piano e strati isolanti di conduttori e cavi elettrici. FasTech Srl of Italy, announce that on, January 9, 2012, it signed
an important technology Contract in Xi'an (People's Republic of China).
Through this Contract, Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Yanan Energy
and Chemical Co., Ltd, a leading petrochemical company in China,
will receive a license to utilize for its industrial development Project
in Yan'an, (Shaanxi province) FasTech innovative and proprietary
technology to manufacture Etylene-Propylene-(Diene)-Rubber (EPDM)
in a plant with a design capacity of 50.000 tons/year.
Yanchang EPDM plant should start operations in the second quarter
of 2014 and will be fed with monomers to be produced in the new
Methanol to Olefins (MTO) plant which Yanchang is building
in the same location.
As provided in the Contract, FasTech, a young and dynamic technology
company based in Italy, will supply Yanchang with an extended
Process Design Package (PDP) and other technical services.
China Chengda Engineering Co., Ltd of Chengdu, Sichuan P.R.C
will subsequently develop the engineering services
(Basic and Detailed Engineering).
